Becoming an NRA Certified Instructor
Guys,
I'm interested in obtaining some NRA instructor certifications, particularly pistol, rifle, shotgun, and home safety. Is anyone here certified? How long did it take for each one, etc. Any info would be appreciated.

Re: Becoming an NRA Certified Instructor
Bill Chessman teaches these courses at PMSC. http://www.pmsconline.com/
The instructor classes are multi-part. The first part is the Instructor training (how to teach the NRA curriculum). The second part is the disciplines; pistol, rifle, shotgun ,etc. These are all separate courses and the classes run around $60 each and take anywhere from 6 to 12 hours of class time, each.

To those looking for NRA Instructor training, google "NRA Instructor Training Pennsylvania". You can also contact the NRA for help locating a class.

Re: Becoming an NRA Certified Instructor
I did google it. The majority of instructors are out west or down south in PA. I figured some instructors don't list themselves and maybe someone could direct me from here. Thanks
