    Smile pocket 9mm recommendation

    Hi all.
    Could use some advice.
Interested in purchasing a 9mm pocket gun.
Thinking of getting a Ruger LC9S?
    Any recommendations appreciated
Up to approx. $500.00 to spend.

You might want to look at the Kahr CM9.

    Better sights, smaller and lighter.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

ive had the lc9s for 3 weeks now and maybe 250 rounds thru it
it was very greasy and needed a bath and the usa made mags need to be replaced by ruger with the Italian ones (free and work better)

and I can honestly say its a pleasure to shoot and is VERY accurate for its size

the trigger is smooth and crisp and I am glad I bought it

Sig P938. Best shooting pocket gun I've owned! It's a tiny little 1911 that's still a metal frame has very little recoil for such a small pistol. You can get extended or flush magazines too for ultimate concealability.

The OP stated 9mm and up to $500. You suggested a .380 & upwards of over $800.

    The 938 is a 9mm- It's the 238 that's a 380. And price? I got my 938 for $550, which isn't too far over the $500 limit.

The 938 is a 9mm, but is out of the OPs stated price range. The 238 is .380.

That is true. But on sale they can be had for close to, if not, $500 and used you should be able to find them for $500 or less. That's the only reason I mention it. Less than $500 for sure? I'd probably go with an LC9. A bit stout on the recoil, but the plastic frame resists corrosion, it's lightweight, and reliable. Rugers seem to almost always be a good deal.

I made a mistake and read the description instead of the specs and read the description too fast to see they were comparing and not saying it was a .380

    My fault.

Still out of the OP's price range.
