Vortex SPARC II

I Mounted my new red dot Vortex SPARC II and took it to the range yesterday.

Couldn't be happier. I used the AR 15 high mount for 100% co-witness, which is how I like it. I was surprised at the range it was dead on at 50 yards with no adjustments.

I really like it.

Hiw is your sparc II holding up? I just purchased a sparc II and a complete RS Regulate setup for my Yugo AK variant. I am anxiously awaiting its arrival and decided on the sparc due to its affordability and vortex warranty.

So far it's great. I've only run about 300 rounds thru my AR with it on but it's still dead on at 100 yards.

I invented a new way to practice.....wrap towels around 5 or 6 one gallon milk jugs and shoot them off hand at 100 yards. Just like doing head shots!

Do you know the upgrades over the sparc?

I like vortex, and love their warranty because I mailed back a sparc three times...

As far as I know the major upgrade was moving the power button off the side of the unit and into the up arrow. The weight is the same and dimensions almost identical.
