I'll definitely be making an extended visit this Fall when I get back. Hopefully he'll continue to have AR receivers. I have parts for 6 uppers sitting at home in boxes!

Thanks for the update Flathead. Send Tim my best.

Tim has a nice stock of CCW handguns! SIG 238's and 239's, S&W 637, Governor and quite a few assorted 1911 platform guns.

9MM, 45 ACP, 357 MAg, 44 Magm .223, .308/7.62X51, 7.62x39R, 7.62 Nagant, 9MM Makarov and some other ammo in stock at his usual low as possible prices.

I picked up a sweet as new Taurus PR 1911 9MM but left an nice trade behind.
Definitely worth the trip to check out.

BTW- No Siaga's at all. Seems they are being held out of the country....

Never heard of it, but it sounds like my kind of place. I'll have to check it out next time I'm down that way.

It's back in the gin-weeds. When you pull off of SR119 on to the back roads, go slow. There is a farm just before Security Military Depot that has ducks and chickens that like to lay on the road. ...the critters will move, but at their leisure. It is a dirt/tar & chip road, so you'll want to go slow anyways - but you want to keep your eyes open for farm animals.

Tim had some ammo in stock over the weekend. I saw this funny box of rimfire ammo marked ".22 lr"

    I was confused

Either way if anybody was drooling over the Vepr in 54r, it went home with a friend of mine. Saw a really interesting Sig Sauer AR pistol, had some Mosins in stock and a fair amount of handguns.

I thought that stuff wasn't made anymore?

I'm thinking about running up sometime this week to look for a hunting 91/30. Don't really feel like hacking up and scratching my numbers matching hex I got from him last year. I'll report back if I go up.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. He had some non-matching rifles in the crate. I picked up a round receiver non-matching as well as a matching.

What was the price on the 54R VEPR?

Any chance you remember how much he was asking for the non matching mosins? For a woods gun all I really care about is bore quality.
