    Ruger SR1911 full size is best 1911 for the money , stainless steel with stainless barrel,excellent accuracy and reliability.

    second choice would Remington Range officer they are a good 1911 for the money and under 800 bucks .

    I am gonna take your advice. It is in crazy nice condition. I can sell it and build another AR and buy an Rock Island 1911 with that money plus a little more.

    Look on any gun sale site of used 1911s, You will see tons of Kimbers and very few Rocks reason is Kimbers suck, Always have and always will. But good luck with your deal.

    Kimbers don'tsuck. As nice as they are the mags are the week point. People who go out and get them and do not learn how to use them suck.
