    Default Where to shoot

I've moved back to the valley after traveling a bit for work and have settled in the western Allentown / Macungie area. I'm looking for a good range or club to call home. I think the closest one to me is the Guthsville Rod & Gun Club but they require a sponsor to join and unfortunately I don't know anyone that's a member. I have friends that belong to the Hellertown club but it's a bit further than I would like. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Open membership at rangers lake. Cheap, ok ranges, generally not crowded. 30$ for a year.

Find out when a membership meeting is held at the club you want to join. Attend it. I'm sure you'll meet someone willing to sponsor your membership. Most gun club members are not exclusive "closed shops." They generally welcome those who put the effort in to show up an talk shop.
