Even if you paid for the entire event, it's the bride's day. Why risk ruining it by pissing of relatives?

I agree with the time and place crowd.

Have a BBQ and invite your new in-laws. Then you can show off your BBQ gun.
    Some people just plain suck.

It can be done in a classy way, as the scruffy-looking fellow stated, leather holsters. If I were the groom, I'd get my groomsmen matching leather holsters if I could afford it. It would look great.

Don't worry too much about possibly offending a few relatives or guests you might not even know. EVERY wedding has complainers...could be about the menu choice, the fact that it's in a church or not in a church, the music, the abundance or lack of alcohol...it's impossible to prevent some people from complaining when it's not even a day for them.

BUT in the end, you need to do what the couple getting married wants for their day. Usually the father paying for things tries to enforce his will and wishes but the day belongs to them and if they're against the idea, just CC and don't cause a scene. If they're for it, go for it...I personally love the idea especially since it's both fathers, the pastor and others actually involved in the ceremony. Remember, do it in a responsible way, not an in-your-face statement about your rights. It might be some guests' first exposure to a carrier up close and you could sway their permanent opinion either way. Lets keep the public on OUR side.

The wedding photos will be memorable too.

If you can get the bride on your side...even better.

I agree with the above, especially this.

All of the men have their finger on the trigger except the 3rd guy from the left. He looks like it's his first time holding a gun.

It looks like he's terrified to hold it.

Funny that he is the only one obeying the four rules.

If so, do what you want. If no, then this day is not about PO'ing anybody.

He said both fathers had agreed to carry. He didn't say both fathers had agreed to OPEN carry, and based on the fact he is asking us for advice I'm fairly certain that they did not all agree to open carry.

Carry concealed. I'm with the others who pointed out that a wedding day is for the bride and groom, it is not a day or a time or a place to be making political grandstands.
