Glock 30s Owners: What Holster are you Using?

Those with a Glock 30s what holster are you using?

Currently I'm using a full Kydex IWB holster from Vigilance Tactical out of Lancaster, PA. Right hand side carry around 3-5 O Clock.

However I'm learning that I much prefer a Leather/Kydex hybrid. Why? The all Kydex holster digs into my body something feirce. Leaving marks.

I've owned a Comp-TAC MTAC for a BERSA Thunder 380 and loved it. Snug fit and didn't dig into me. I see Vigilance Tactical makes a hybrid but I'm concerned about the exposed hardware on the back.

Are you using a Leather/Kydex hybrid or an all leather holster?

I'm unwilling to OWB carry & I don't want an all Kydex holster opinions/options. As for reason stated above.

I've seen those N82 Tactical holster before. They look HUGE and a lot of unwanted padding.

If you could post pictures of yours I'd love to see the width of the backing.

Not my pic, but below is a pic showing the width. It's a soft layer of suede, neoprene, and some kind of fake leather material. This makes the holster comfortable, sweatproof, and protects your gun's finish.

I never liked the kydex-leather hybrid IWB holsters. Because of that, I always hated IWB carry. Now all I carry is IWB and that is because of this holster. Because I got the "Original" model, I can use the same holster for my Glock 30s and Ruger SR9c.

Thanks for the quick reply. The Kydex holds the gun extremely well.

I feel I could honestly make the N82 Tactical holster at home or in a Scout class of some kind.

To each their own. It's an option just not my cup of tea.

JM Custom Kydex IWB Version 3. Fit, finish and retention are excellent. I wanted a minimalist holster for this gun and this works perfectly in that role. Very comfortable and I'm used to carrying my M&P in a leather/Kydex hybrid Comp-Tac.

Not all Kydex holsters are the same, but if you like MTAC, just get another.
