    Default Grip Enhancements on Glocks

Long story short, I bought a Glock 30s and love it, but I am trying to find the perfect (rubber) grip enhancements for it. I liked the Traction Grips my friend has on his Glock 36. I was just wondering what people were using and their opinions on them. I had a Hogue Handall Grip on my previous Glock 19 and it was just a slight improvement for me. Thank you!

My glock 19 is stippled with the finger grooves removed and I really like it.
Go head, skin it. Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens.

Short of a proffesional stiple job, like this on on my model 21, I would recommend either Talon Grips or Decal Grip. I have Decals on my 17 and 19 in the rubber material. The sand texture is quite aggressive but also has its place. I eventually took them off the left side of my guns because my iwb holster did not have a sweat shield and they rubbed against my body. Not intolerable but not pleasant. If you notice you don't contact the left side much anyway if you are a right handed shooter like me. Pachmayr also makes a rubber sleeve with cut outs for the finger grooves that many cops in my town are using. The good thing is none of these costs over twenty bucks so experimenting won't break the bank. BTW my stipling, finger groove removal and grip reduction set me back about 135 bucks from Coldbore Solutions in Texas. .

    Grip enhancements on a Glock?

Not required. I'm told that Glocks are perfect as-is.

I liked these adhesive grips better than the slip on variety. In rubber, though. sand was just too aggressive for me.

I have the Talon grips as well. I really like them but if you do go with them I recommend getting the rubber grips especially if you are carrying with an IWB holster with a combat cut. The granulate is nice, but it is a pain (literally) if it is rubbing against your back all day.

I like the Talon grips, too. For me, they make a big difference acquiring a positive grip from holster, and in hot weather when my hands are sweaty.

Robar's work is out of this world. First of all, they remove the rear hump and refill the area. Then they take off the finger groves. Then they undercut the trigger guard. Then the entire grip is texturized. The end result is a Glock that points like a 1911. Best mods I ever paid for on a gun.

Now that looks like it would be an improvement. As far as stick on grip panels, decals & the Gen4 backstraps go; it's still like holding a 2X4.

My Glock's grip enhancement came from a Lone Wolf Timberwolf frame.
