Windshield chip epoxy-resin repair in Pittsburgh area?
Mandatory gun-related; looked like a BB or pellet hit the windshield while on highway. Or maybe it was just a rock...
Left about a half-dollar-sized chip - now I either replace entire windshield or have the chip fixed with the resin-epoxy stuff.
Found Three Rivers Autoglass and The Glass Doctor locally to Pittsburgh; does anyone have experience with either of these companies in fixing a chip in the windshield?
Thanks tons in advance! All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

Think I used Three Rivers once,as I recall, they did ok work.
Last few were Safelite I think, that's who the insurance company sent.
Good job on the chips. Hard to see the repair.
Depends on how bad it is if the repair will be effective or a distraction, which rips up your wiper blades.IMOΜολὼν λαβέ

I have used both and also fixed two with a DIY kit. Its my opinion that the quality of repair really depends on the chip more than the company. Thats a big chip, all of mine were much smaller.

Ended up using Advanced Auto Glass - they did a fine job at a reasonable price.
