Default Great Article covering the issue of PRINTING

I have heard of several people that are concerned about PRINTING when they are carrying concealed. This article does a good job of covering this topic.

Unlike Texas, open carry of a handgun is legal in PA. Therefore, I don't worry as much about keeping a concealed gun concealed. I'll wear a full frame in an OWB holster or a compact frame in an IWB holster with a loose fitting t-shirt. If the either prints or if the full frame peaks, I don't really care too much.

I've also open carried on occasion. So, I'm used to the comments and looks.

I'm just worried whether my shirt looks like ass with it all bundled up on the grip of the gun.

I almost never CC, but when I do, I look like the one on the right.

I try to be as discreet as possible, but I have some tees that I like and with my weight going up and down, its hard to hide completely. Favorite tee, I OC.

You look to be about the same frame and size as me.. I dont have a big waist... I mainly wear Tee shirts and jeans or cargo shorts.

Since I wear shorts... I guess that rules out a "DIRTY HARRY 44 Mag"
It would be printing on my THIGH!!!

I don't really care if I print.. I carry my full frame 1911 open or concealed, and it almost always prints when it's concealed. I wear the print as a badge of honor.

I usually OC but yesterday for the hell of it, I put my tee shirt over. That lasted about 15 minutes before I discreetly went open carry again. It was so obvious and looked like hell. Granted most people wouldn't know or think about what was going on under the wrinkled bulbous bulge on my hip but I swear it drew more attention than OC.

I could easily pull it off with an IWB.

I too couldn't possibly care less if anyone noticed printing.

It would be different if OC were illegal.
