Default OC Dog Walk in Berks

Have been pondering this for a bit, and wanted to troll for any interest in an open carry dog walk event in the Berks area.

When: TBD, tenativly sometime in the first half of July.

Where: TBD, was thinking of Blue Marsh Lake outside Reading PA. Enough trails and open areas to let us easily occupy the better part of the day. Theyre dog-freindly, and although anti-gun in their rules, they are not a part of the State Parks system.

What: Meet up with our canine companions in tow and get some excercise. Possibly put together a simple picnic as well, but mostly about walking. All dogs will be on leashes at all times, of course. As goes for all OC events, OC, CC, or no carry at all are perfectly welcome, as well as those that lack the dog, but would still enjoy a walk.

    So whos up for it?

A state game land is another option.

Oh wow, I just got an image of the dog park devotees from when I lived in Baltimore for college- wow if we could have just OC'd maybe those thugs wouldn't have started taking the park over, which in turn scared all but myself away from the park at night. Yeah I was the only one with "balls", and the only time thugs were running amok at that point was 1 night and I went elseware that night. I did find duty though when some neighbors started this patrolling citizens thingy, and I joined in the walk a bunch of times, OC the dog in tow. I was territorial LOL- like a dog I am loyal to those who treat me well, and will stick by you, and I get territorial and want to chase all the bad things away.
    LOL, I am a woman...

Watch out at Blue Marsh. Most of the trails that go around the lake itself run through Army Property as they own the lake area that is not state game lands.
