PMC is top-notch. They supply the South Korean military. I buy it whenever I can.

Re: ammo good,bad ugly
I mostly use WWB for store bought, budget ammo, but I have shot PMC a few times out of a number of Taurus 9mm plastic guns. Never had a problem with any of it. Prolly somewhere around 1400 to 1500 rds. I always used the 50 rd boxes.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Never had a problem with a variety of calibers with their pistol ammo.

Re: ammo good,bad ugly
The only malfunctions I had in my G19 were from a single box of PMC 9mm ammo. I don't want to disparage the brand based on a single problem, but you asked for info. I would still buy it again though and realize all ammo manufacturers can make mistakes.
I just got some Blazer brass 9mm from Tropgun.com for $244 per thousand. I've never had any trouble with CCI Blazer ever, either in aluminum or brass case.

I will choose PMC when its available. Their FMJ always performs at the range in my semis, and they make a 180 grain 44 mag SJHP for my lightweight S&W revolver that no other manufacturer has.
Sit down! You'll never clear leather.

Re: ammo good,bad ugly
I'm not a fan of the regular PMC stuff. I only have anecdotal evidence, but I've had a few duds in a couple boxes of 45 ACP a few years ago. Not one, a few. I ended up with a couple hundred rounds of Bronze 9mm in a trade I did somewhat recently, and all of those rounds were fine. Lots of people don't like the cheapo Remington ammo, but I've shot many thousands of rounds of it over the years and can't remember having one problem. Go figure.
You need to check out gunbot.com. What does the sportsman guide charge for shipping? PSA has Fiocchi 9mm for 10.99/50 and it comes out to just under .25 per round shipped. Freedom Munitions makes some good stuff for cheap too.Last edited by 625; July 16th, 2014 at 10:56 AM.
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.
