Ruger LCR-x
Perfect is the word used by me to describe this revolver.
Shot my reloads 148 DEWC at 15 yards punching the black on a 8" target.
+P federal 125 & 158 right on the money, target that is.
Trigger, single or double action is perfect. Had I know would have just bought with out hammer. After thoughts?
Now looking for a holster?NRA Life Member 03/2005

Re: Ruger LCR-x
My friend bought the S&W642. He likes the trigger on the LCR better. Both guns are new. His has just 50 rounds, fired. Lcr has 155 rounds fired.
I was looking at the S&W637. Like the Ruger a little more.
Very happy. Both are great choices.
Off to the range today.
I did change the front sight on the LCR. HiVis FO. Push 1 pin= so simple to do.NRA Life Member 03/2005

Re: Ruger LCR-x
I just sold my LCR yesterday. Not because I didn't like it but I couldn't get as proficient with quick reloads as I would like to be. I'm better with stuffing a new mag in. But mine was DAO and as far as light weight carry revolvers go I think it's the best one out there. There's nothing the smiths do that the LCR doesn't do better not to mention you can get the exact same gun in .357 mag and .22 mag and .22lr. The front sight is replaceable with fiber optic and night sights, and the grip is far better for shooting. The gun is a little bit bigger than a jframe which I find very nice for comfort in using the firearm. Over all I think it's the best .38+p revolver out there but that's purely opinion.
For holsters I used a talon holster from talon training group in Tallahassee Florida. It rides nice from 3-5:30 and is pretty fast draw for being a leather holster. Retention is not the best IMO but I got the holster in 3 days and paid $50 for it.
There is a guy in Lancaster his company is vigilance tactical. He makes holsters from kydex as well as hybrid style. Turn around when I got mine was a week and the holster is awesome. I'll be ordering 2 more this week from him for my new pistols.

Re: Ruger LCR-x
Wish they would make an LCR or LCRx with interchangable cylinders for .22 / .22 Mag like the Single Six. Bet they would sell a ton of them.

Re: Ruger LCR-x
I LOVE my LCR. I got it in the .357 single action. I carry it more when I am indoors and usually just in my pocket without a holster. The only gripe I have is that the hogue grip can get stuck when pulling the gun out.

Re: Ruger LCR-x
I have the LCR357 DAO. I love it. I don't shoot a lot of 357 ammo these days but I did when I got it in 2010. For the last couple of years I shoot more 38 and 38+P. I carry this gun every day as main carry or backup.
