Default cardboard IDPA (or similar) targets

any retail locations in central PA that have these available in any bulk? I was going to order them from Midway and pay stupid shipping.. but figured I would see if there is a retail location that has them first..

    ...or similiar eh?

    Cereal boxes opened up.

Or wine/liquor boxes opened and cut to shape maybe?
they are free at all the state stores around me at least. Always a good source of cardboard.

    Just my two cents

That's what I use. The larger "family size" boxes of General Mills cereals are nearly identical in size.

And I eat a lot of cereal.

Yea, get one and you have a template to make more. Or, you can make a template of the down 1 zone and be able to make a lot more and make them easier and quicker. That's what I do. Makes a good target for rifle shooting at 100 yards in the standing or kneeling position too. Easy enough to see without magnification, but still challenging to hit with every shot of a 30 round mag.
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.

I know someone who sells large pieces of equipment packed in heavy duty cardboard. I can get 3 IDPA targets out of one side of a box. Basically I just have a template, draw the outline on the cardboard and cut them out.

Works just fine for practice at home.

I bought some from the range where I'm a member. They do IDPA matches there, so there is a steady flow of incoming fresh targets. I just contacted the guy that runs the shoots and told him how many I was looking for. I got them at cost.

You may need to wait a bit, depending on their match schedule, and currently supply of targets, but if you can get them basically 'at cost', it's probably worth it.

They usually leave the used ones in the corner of the bay because they take up too much space in the trash can. Pick them up and walk out with them for free. They throw them out anyway.

try "Target Barn" for IDPA cardboard targets
Midway USA is great but their prices are typically on the steep side

Mechanicsburg Ordnance has some in. I believe he is selling them for $1 each and has pasters as well.
