RugerSR9C - LOVE IT!!

What a fantastic firearm. Comes with a 10 round and 17 round magazine, fires crisp and clean, looks good, and is JUST the right size over the Ruger LCR. I think the Ruger LCP is a tad small, LCR is a bit better but the SR9C is perfect.

Also love the ambidextrous safety. I got it from another forum member tonight and shot off a few rounds before I returned home. I own a full size Ruger SR40 and I think the 9 fired more comfortably by far. I never take the SR40 full size out, its too big.

Anyways, I know plenty of you guys have this firearm, any pros or cons you've noticed?

BTW, Buds still has the SR45 full size for $379. I'd go for that if it was a compact.

I emailed Ruger if they had any plans on a SR45c and they emailed me back the corporate way of saying "no". Needless to say I ordered a Glock 30s.

Anyways, yes the SR9c is a fantastic pistol! It is my primary carry gun. If you want a slightly better trigger pull then you can remove the magazine disconnect. It takes two minutes and there are a ton of videos on youtube showing how to do it.

I highly suggest getting a N82 tactical original holster for your SR9c. You'll barely realize you have your SR9c with you when you use it. Anyways, enjoy your "new" SR9c and shoot the hell out of it! I shoot mine better than my Glock 19 (which I sold), and you'll really appreciate the trigger and sights on it. It's a very underrated gun.
