Re: Bundy supporters to be 'held accountable'
Bundy supporters will be "held accountable", eh?
One day....power hungry bureaucrats and greedy politicians will be "held accountable"...and that will be a much better day

Re: Bundy supporters to be 'held accountable'
You are married to a cell phone and the internet.
You aren't disappearing into anything.
And if that doesn't apply to you, it applies to the four guys in front of you and the four guys behind you.
The lessons of Vietnam, Korea (WTF?), and Al Qaeda do not apply here. This is the most monitored and targeted populace on the planet, more than all others combined.

Re: Bundy supporters to be 'held accountable'
The internet is an advantage. The hardest thing for an underground group to do is communicate,
"We're eating at Red Lobster on Monday, please bring a menu with you, gotta love their biscuits."
You don't know it but I just told 20 people from around the country that I'm blowing up government building and need the detonators. HypotheticallyLast edited by ray h; July 8th, 2014 at 07:15 PM.

Re: Bundy supporters to be 'held accountable'
However, unlike radio and various written forms, the internet is shut off the moment it's *it's time* time. At least for the public. You can build a radio out of a whole lot of different things, and you can fire it up and be communicating. You can't build the internet. You might be fine for a little while, but once the interwebs are shut down, I wish you the best of luck.
Radio is a lost communication form. I've got them in every one of my go bags and stashed in every location (home, car, work, other). Stash one for you and one for whoever becomes your battle buddy. Learn how they work, learn how to fix one and how to make one. You can't possibly fix your sail foam if something happens to it, but you certainly could fix a radio. Or build one.

u don't need to communicate, unless you need somebody to hold your little hand. elect a leader, he publishes general targets, strike at will.

Re: Bundy supporters to be 'held accountable'
A "sniper" being anyone holding a rifle with a scope. It's sufficient. You're not allowed to bear arms against a government, unless you win. Nobody remembers that the people who founded the United States were in rebellion against the Crown, and could have been Drawn and Quartered. They won. They could have lost and died for it.
It's not legal to use firearms to force a standoff with law enforcement, even law enforcement which may have been protecting the investments of a crooked Nevada Senator. Which is totally speculative. Time will tell if Dingy Harry had anything to do with the Bundy situation. If not he'll be shamed and ruined. If not he was just another complainer in Nevada.
These guys could have done more by just aiming cameras, cell phones and satellite phones at the BLM than using their firearms. Police are trained to handle armed resistance. They're not necessarily trained to handle being singled out and exposed as a bully on the Internet.
Imagine if on April 19 1992 there were dozens of drones with cameras passing over Mt. Apocalypse, taking photos. Hundreds of videos on Live Leak and Ogrish featuring shooting. Lon Horiuchi, who is alleged to have shot at Davidians, and who was implicated in shooting at Vicky Weaver, might have become infamous. You can shoot down some drones but get them all and the movies? Not likely.
Imagine if Obama had pushed the issue at the Bundy Ranch.... and all videos of the Bundys being shot by BLM showed up on Live Leak. Obama's Waco. Can't deny it, can't get it white washed.

Re: Bundy supporters to be 'held accountable'
Even the Chinese communists won't shut down the Internet. They censor it. They have the "golden shield". In spite of this dissidents routinely do work arounds.
If the US shut off the Internet they'd be disrupting business. Huge amounts of business. There are tens or hundreds of billions of dollars of business being done online each day. Those folks won't care if the BLM looks stupid. They sure as heck would want to do business in areas "in rebellion". If only for News articles.
Yes, the BLM or its friends could have halted Cellular service to the area around Bundy Ranch. Could they have stopped everyone from smuggling out video? Very unlikely. Satellite phones, small cameras. People are gonna get the word out.
The Feds and NSA couldn't even stop Wikileaks or Snowden. All of their dirty laundry got out. They couldn't catch Snowden, and Julian Assange is sitting in the Ecuadoran Embassy, where he gives news conferences.
Think that the Russians, Chinese and others would have passed on the chance to embarrass the US Government? RT, Russian TV, ran Ferguson Mo and other crisis spots long after it was old news in the US.
