Didn't really see the outrage on CNN's part. The owner of the restaurant got exposure and CNN's viewership got to see that guns, carrying etc.... is not that big of a deal and that there a lot of people who support it.

Not bad imo. One of things that causes problems imo is that antis often surround themselves with other antis, only read news geared towards antis, and often don't recognize that a lot of people think totally differently than them. This report brought out that there are a lot of people who think differently. The reporter did not seem offended, just bringing a story to the air.

That anchor is a perfect example of the term "looking askance". Try as she did, she was unable to affect the owner. Guess she'll be getting replaced. (I hope).

Yeah i kinda thought this was positive in our cause. Restaurant owner was very professional and showed they were responsible owners and doing nothing wrong. Reporter was not "outraged". Probably not how CNN wanted that one to go but it's not too bad at all.

Brave woman. I am encouraged to see pro gun views picked up by the younger generations. The antis always want to make the 2A look arcane and irrelevant in 2014. It must be disheartening for them to see new blood.

It's hard to watch this stuff sometimes because my head wants to explode when the person being interviewed can't demolish the pathetic points raised by the interviewer("but what if some criminal comes in and takes a gun off someone?") as if someone can't just bring a gun along to commit crime. But that's just me being picky because the person being interviewed isn't as savvy as we are here to counter those arguments. She's just trying to run a business and live her life and then she gets dragged into the national debate because someone who thinks they know better happens to come in for a meal.

Everybody needs to keep this guy in mind when they welcome "gun people" from NY and NJ.

They want flash hiders and normal capacity mags alright but they want you to go through training to carry a gun and a mental health approval by an ati AMA doctor, have open carry banned, firearm registration, want motorcycle helmet laws, welfare, ordinances to make you take your signs down and keep your tractors indoors, no burning allowed, you should pay to recycle your garbage, smart meters, paint your house every 5 years or get fined, no fertilizer on your farm next door to them, etc.

We have seen this scourge over and over, and it has destroyed much of NE PA and damaged much of Northampton and Lehigh Counties.

Do not welcome these people with open arms. Of course they think they are not "those" people, they can pick half the examples I posted and say they don't support those issues. Beware.

Unless of course it is an NJ or NYC cop, in which case he is our "brother."
