Walmart bans firearms
I just visited a Walmart in Jupiter Fl under remodeling. There is a large sign prohibiting firearms. I have attempted to call management. Seems the wrong thing to do

Re: Walmart bans firearms
A few months or weeks back I predicted that the strategy of the antis was to negate concealed and open carry. The OC Texas crowd helped them in a big way. There will be more and more businesses that will ban weapons from their property.
I recently got Safariland's QLS. It's a quick release locking system for their holsters. A good and sturdy locker in my vehicle. Soon carrying will be too much of a hassle and they win with smug smiles

Re: Walmart bans firearms
I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that this particular Walmart location doesn't sell firearms.
The sign was probably a local manager's idea of a good policy that wasn't vetted by corporate.
I suggest emailing Bentonville and asking about the sign.I am not a lawyer. Nothing I say or write is legal advice.

I would never carry into a premises that had a no gun sign, but I have heard that some that conceal firearms do. Just sayin.
