Default Leting my father borrow a handgun

I was wondering if I would be breaking the law if I lend my father a handgun to shoot and even carry. We both live in Pa. and we also have our LTCF. Only thing is we do not live in the same house?

Anyone know if there is a difference between biological parent child and adopted? Just came to mind.

Applicable definition for UFA treats birth/adopted children same :

    1 Pa CS §1991 ...
"Child" or "children." Includes children by birth or adoption.

Would it make a difference if it was out of state?

Yes. That would be an interstate transfer requiring FFLs.

Be safe (and on the books).

Years back, visiting my parents in Florida, Dad gave me his 5-screw model 10. Was unable to pull the trigger on it anymore. I transported it home to PA in our car.
