Default Perry township park preemption violation??

took the daughter over to the Perry township park which is located off of onxy rd ta do a little sunny fishing in the pond, never gave much thought to the rules/regs sign because they were very worn but today I noticed they had new signs up dated 5/1/2014 and on the sign besides the normal rules (no alcohol, drugs, loitering, profanity...etc) it also had NO lethal weapons.
at the bottom of the sign it also states use of park is at your own risk and is operated by the authority of Perry township recreation board & Perry township supervisors. isn't this a preemption violation since its a township park?

Sounds like it to me. Surprising, too, that it's a new sign. Or should I say disappointing?
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

That's a pretty sign but it looks like it was written by a drunk.
What does "No animals or pets" mean?
Can you have a pet that isn't an animal, does the park have squarrels snakes, or fish, because those are animals that may not be pets but still aren't allowed in the park?

As for the "no lethal weapons", that sounds like a violation but who knows exactly what a "lethal weapon" is.
