    Default Ceasefire is beating us

This is trivial, I know but ceasefirepa has more "likes" than FOAC on facebook. Appearance is everything in activism and politics. Please got to the FOAC page and give us a "like". https://www.facebook.com/foacpac

Are Facebook "likes" really that important?
I think you are going to have more than a few people here tell you that they choose not to use Facebook.

    Unfortunately, yes they are.

If you can go into a politicians office and say you have 10s of thousands of contacts, you have power...

In this culture of pop morality people follow whatever morals are 'in'. The entire PC movement has been successful by making opposing views 'out' and driving conformity through ostracizing their opponents. So if some people think that pro-gun views are 'out' then they are going to be more likely to take on anti-gun views that appear to be 'in'. It's sad. It's pathetic. It's not the way intelligent, mature people should decide things. But it's the way it is. If 'liking' a Facebook page even might help keep the low information voter or worldview lemming from adopting an anti-gun viewpoint then the two seconds it takes to do it are well worth it. IMHO.

I think it's going to be more than a few. Facebook is more a younger, feelgood thing. This forum is populated by people who actually do things, rather than virtualy do them. We prefer shooting real guns not electronic ones.

I never did either. Facebook is anti-gun anyway.
