My generation and the subsequent ones are in for a huge wake up call. The sense of entitlement is sickening. 39FlatHead, you gave great advice and painted a realistic picture for this kid. Your patience goes far beyond mine, and if the op had any sense he would apologize and heed the advice you all have given him. I don't particularly have anything to add to this discussion, apart from hoping that maybe another perspective will help the op see the error in his ways and grow up a bit.

This is why I hate the welfare state. It aggravates me to know that my tax dollars will be going to your foodstamps.

People think welfare is bad because of the single mom with twenty kids, but the reality is that far more of our welfare dollars go to idiot kids with bad attitudes that think they are entitled anything. No one notices because they blend in better, but if you pay attention you'll see that people like the OP cost us more in welfare than anyone else.

Man, you guys are tough. And then you wonder why some LGS proprietors and gunsmiths are unsympathetic to your problems when you present.

Sanders, we are in the same boat guy....Flathead and anyone else sending hate won't say it to your face because they are talking tough on the internet. (my addres is 306 Wampum Avenue Ellwood City PA 16117 if any of you wanna test the waters, pendejos).

I know you were just putting a feeler out there to get an actual gunsmith job. Its hard right now. The dude that said to get a real job and do things on the side has it right. I know you're single so your free time won't be distracted with family and other responsibilities. One of the things Gary talked about was doing exactly that, taking the 10 years to build your reputation while working at mcdonalds to pay the bills. Patience is gonna be essential with this and its going to suck.......

The key is to not stop working on guns. PP has and he's probably gonna end up at Home depot for the rest of his life in Pittsburgh. Shit, if you have my number call me and we can come up with a plan. I have pieces to the puzzle, just need some help putting it together.......
