reichebrown, Hope I didn't add to any confusion with my post, Garpman is right on the money.
By the way, what are they asking for the rifle you are looking at?Last edited by 762xIan; June 18th, 2008 at 04:16 PM.

Re: AK 47 from EGypt?
$300.00.
I would appreciate it's value by ten dollars over the last ten years; regardless of condition. A Maadi is nothing fancy. They were subject, (post ban) to the same import regulations as the Romanian AKM. It is essentially the same thing as a romanian AK with another metal finish, (probably spray paint).
A pre-ban would be another story, and therefore demand a higher price, ($500.00).

Mississippi Auto Arms gets Saigas in now and then. About $400 before shipping, transfer, pistol grip conversion (something like $150 for basic U.S. furniture and Tapco FCG, a handful of hours drilling out rivets and wrestling with springs). They won't look quite right after the conversion though, the gas block is different without the hardware for traditional handguards.
WASR 10s seem to be going for $600 or more.Last edited by Suburban; April 6th, 2009 at 01:52 AM.
