    Default Scotia Range..

    Is it still closed?!
I have 3 guns that I bought since the closer, that I haven't shot yet, and frankly, I'm getting itchy trigger finger!

I just washed and waxed my truck yesterday. I'm not going out there.

I'll see if I can con someone from work to run out there and check it out.

Closed sign still posted as of 6/14 when I drove by. I was told it will be closed until at least the end of August. However, I have no confirmation of that.

Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.’’

I may be running out there after work today to check it out. I'll be sure to post if it's opened up. I picked up a gun about a month ago and have had it out only twice...I'm itchin to use it!

I was told June 16th the place would be open by someone a few weeks ago, but who knows how true that was.

So I was searching around and found this site:
    http://www.payhec.org/08YHEC.html

They are apparently having some function at the Scotia Range on Saturday. If this is current and right, I would guess that means its opening up? I'm definitely going by after work now... I need to know.

I had my gf drive by the range today.
she told me that both aux and main range are all still dug up, mountain of dirt everywhere with heavy equipments parked all over, and cant see the range being open anytime soon, specialy how any state backed construction effort generaly takes forever.
Why they don't like do one range at the time is beyound me..

she said that there were several people over at shotgun range doing skeet shooting tho.

we should call the game commission or someone in harrisburge to find out for sure...
