Penn Warner Club
Anyone a member or ever visited Penn Warner Club down in Lower Bucks. I have a trusted friend who says it's a great place, good fishing, hunting, and ranges so close. The membership is like $550, so I wanted to see what others thought before I jumped.

Never heard of that club but Langhorn Rod and Gun is where I belong. It is a great range, very black rifle friendly and a fraction of that cost.

In the shadow of the Falls and Tullytown Landfills...
Didn't know they had a range or hunting...
Take a close look first...

The Penn Warner Club is owned by Waste Management Corporation. That gave me slight pause. I was there once for a cookout (nee "kegger") approximately 15 years ago. I wasn't impressed then... but who knows?

Yo Cole.... that $550, is that with or without golf privileges... or is it they supply ammunition when you visit for a session.

I know a member there who loves the club, and says it's a great place to fish and to hunt. This is a guy who travels the country to hunt everything under the sun.
Honestly, I'm going to check things out as a guest some time, but a place like Langhorne or Paletown seems might make more sense.

I was a member for the first 30yrs of my 41yr life and it was great, I basically grew up down there spending every summer camping. They havent had (To my knowledge) a gun range in decades.
The fishing is fantastic, even though they put a dump where the best lot (ours) was, and the privilages are less than they used to be, it is worth the money if you have the time.

Re: Penn Warner Club
I was a member there about 25 years and lived there 7 months a year (the other 5 in Key West). It's a great place, fishin' is real good. My wife, Franne worked about 21 years at the PWC office. We moved year round to Key West about 13 years ago and from what I understand the hunting is done and I know the gun range is no more. Living summers there were the best years of my life. I also worked there a couple years. I probably know RaisedByWolves, croydenbill and 96D's father in law!
