As usual, Jesse and his ilk turn attention away from the element in Chicago who are unable to behave as civilized human beings. We have a similar problem here in philly.

Illegal drugs are worth a lot of money and that money leads to gangs and their gang wars. We should supply them with more ammo so they may eradicate the scourge.

As someone who has grown weary of histrionics about the murder rates in urban centers, I often believe it may be far too low.

On a more serious note, in a society where we make certain substances contraband yet still widely available and thus highly profitable for a large number of criminal organizations, from small street corner groups to organized nationwide gangs, the resulting violence over who gets the lions' share of that profit is hardly unexpected.

As far as crime in the urban areas...a strong death penalty would do wonders...I'm saying the penalty to be carried out within a specified time (6 months sounds good).
