Talking Glock, Gen 4, Mod 19

OK, here's your chance to throw in your favorite goodies.
Have shot for many years. Rifles, revolvers, shotguns, pistols.
Just got my first Glock, the one shown above.
    What's your favorite:
    Holster?
    Site?
Other goody that you can't live without?

    My EDC gun since 2005 has been a Glock 19;

Favorite holster: Kramer horsehide OWB belt scabbard (been using these holsters since the early 90s - to include for plain clothes work for a few years)

Favorite IWB holster (for those times that I want/need more concealment): Milt Sparks SSII or Comp-Tac CTAC.

Belt: I use either a Galco "COP" belt 1 1/2" or a Blade-Tech belt also 1 1/2", I do have a Kramer sharkskin 1 1/4" "dress" belt for slacks etc....

Mag Pouch: I always carry a single off side mag pouch. I use a Kramer or Comp Tac pouch.

Favorite Sights: Warren Tacticals, front sight has a tritium insert, rear sights are plain black. Switched to these a few years ago - VERY fast front sight pick up. (Before this I had always used either Trijicons or Mepro 3 dot night sights).
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Favorite holster: TT Gunleather DDOX OWB: (brown w/sharkskin trim): http://www.mcssl.com/store/a9856d0de...b1c8431866ca78

Holster that gets used more since I started working at a firm that requires me to dress nice: Crossbreed Super Tuck IWB w/Combat Cut http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/SuperTuckDeluxe.aspx

Belt: A Filson double bridle belt or a similar one made by LL Bean that seems to have been discountinued. One's black, one's brown. http://www.filson.com/products/1-1-2...aProduct=1011/

Mag/light Pouch: TT Gunleather Mag/Light combo (brown, with sharkskin trim) http://www.mcssl.com/store/a9856d0de...435d1511b1c6c5

(Word to the wise: if you buy a Novak rear sight, just send your slide to them to have it installed. The gunsmith I went to didn't really know how to install them and ended up dinging them up a bit.)

I like galco leather myself. a sob or jack slide works well. a 3.5 connector, extended slide stop and after market sights of your choice. no major changes for me. happy shooting.

I really like my phlster holster, ameriglo sights and I'm in the market for a new mag holder.

I could also add that I really like the vickers tactical slide release and it's pictured with the glock extended mag release but I also have a vickers version on order as well. The stippling was done by a friend who did an awesome job and also undercut the triggerguard.

Lots of good input. I think my first acquisition will be a holster. I like the Hume JIT. What about the Glock holsters?
And I still argue with myself on Owb VERSUS IWB.
TRITIUM ON THE FRONT IS A BIG PLUS.
Hey I'm using a new Surface computer and it's giving le a hard time!

Now I'LL bore you to death...on this connector stuff...update me. What is 'the stock connector in the 19?

    Any spring change?

Now on the initial trigger movement we're actually moving the firing pin rearward right?

I've used skate board tape in the past on my XD 45 ACP.

Great choice. When I carry a 19, it's usually in a Crossbreed Supertuck. As far as sights are concerned, I'm a big fan of Truglo TFOs. Other than that, I don't do anything else with it besides use it to turn money into noise.

    My EDC is a 23. I prefer .40 over 9.

    G23 Gen4
3.5# connector, Glock factory night sights (pic is from when I had Ameriglo I-Dot Pros in there, I put the same 3 dot Glock night sights in all my Glocks during the Glock day event at King's, decided to have them all match)

The pouch on the left holds my Gerber multi-tool, an LED AA Maglite and a 22 round magazine, with the + baseplate.

The holster is a Blade Tech IWB, I also use a Blade Tech belt.

I will also be adding a 27 in ankle carry in the relatively near future, just need to get to the range with it some more first.

I like the Safariland 6378 ALS paddle holster. G19 is my everyday carry

I like my galco kingtuk and galco instructors belt. The belts come in carrying thickness and width and you can get one with a polymer insert for added strength. They are strong enough without that though.
