POOFA Radio
Hey all, I know some people have stopped over to Paltalk chat to visit and many enjoyed listening to tunes while chatting. Well for the time being we have a shoutcast server setup to use (thanks to Skuggi) and we will be broadcasting on there. Typically just tunes, and usually I am in the flashchat here while jamming out, should you have requests just fire me a PM in chat (use the PM please so as to not hijack too much of the chat) if you got to http://americaninfidels.org:443 it will show the Server Status: "Server is currently down" if we are not broadcasting or it will show info if the music is online. To listen just click on the LISTEN link on the top of the page or click here to launch the stream directly. Any suggestions as far as programming is welcome. Perhaps if people are interested we could work some interviews or other programming if it gets used. I think Skuggi has a 32 liscense server so 32 people can be on at once.
EDIT: PORT CHANGE IN THE ADDRESS !Last edited by Montanya; June 16th, 2008 at 06:18 PM.

Re: POOFA Radio
You guys remembering to pay your ridiculous statutory royalty fees (or is that radio station licensing fees?) every time you play a song?

Re: POOFA Radio
A while back I brought up the idea of a PAFOA podcast. At the time there was less happening and nobody to do the work.
Well, we have some more IT people and a bit to talk about. Maybe the time is now?

Re: POOFA Radio
Well while the poofa radio was just a conceptual thing off paltalk we had greg rotz on doing a recap from the NRA conference and some folks showed up to ask question and it went over really well. If people seem to like this we would like to do some more of that in the future including inviting others to host talk segments like Greg did or a weekly show if they would like. If anyone is interested in this or has ideas, I know I am certainy open to it. Right now there is no set schedule of when the "Station" is on the air. But if you go to http://americaninfidels.org:8000 it shows on the main page if the station is on-air or disconnected.

Montanya, if you like, archive the audio from these (22.025 KHz, 16bit, 56 kbps MP3 is best) and I'll host them on my website as a podcast that people can download.
PM me and I'll send you upload instructions.
