Default CNN calls out "Everytown" stats on mass shootings...

    http://gunssavelives.net/blog/cnn-ca...-shooting-map/

That's right! CNN is doing the calling out on an organization that is being funded by Bloomberg. Apparently that number of 75 is more like 15... and of those 15 only 1 is classified as a mass shooting.

You know you’ve messed up when even CNN is calling your statistics out as suspect.

I’m sure that you’ve seen the map pictured above floating around the net the last few days. It is a map that is supposed to show 74 “school shooting” since the massacre at Sandy Hook.

If it was true, that would be a startling graphic. However, when most people think “school shooting” they think a murderer attempting to kill as many people as possible. However, that’s not how Everytown for Gun Safety, the group behind the map (the same group that was bankrolled by a $50 million check from Michael Bloomberg) defines a “school shooting”.

    According to CNN,

Everytown says on its web site that it gleans its information from media reports and that its list includes school shootings involving a firearm discharged inside or on school grounds, including assaults, homicides, suicides and accidental shootings.

CNN determined that 15 of the incidents Everytown included were situations similar to the violence in Oregon — a minor or adult actively shooting inside or near a school. That works out to about one shooting every five weeks.

Some of the other incidents on Everytown’s list included personal arguments, accidents and alleged gang activities and drug deals.

Of those 15 instances only ONE would be classified as a mass shooting with 4 or more victims. In some of the instances listed by Everytown, school wasn’t even in session.

Sounds like maybe CNN is running scared. Their ratings are in the shitter and they have to put on a food critic show for several hours to try and keep afloat. Plus told Piers to take the train. They sure rode the far left libtard bandwagon for a long time and look where they are. Maybe they are trying to be a little less libtardish to try and get some viewers back.

On a side note. MSNBC has been running prison shows and other stuff to fill in air time. But a lot longer than CNN has.

Perhaps I missed it, but they really didn't place any emphasis that "Everytown" numbers were over-inflated...they just provided the stat that it was closer to 15. It was still an 'anti' piece.

Everytown's organizers would agree - no such thing as bad publicity.
