Re: York County Gun & Knife show at the York Fairgrounds
Went to the York show this AM, not what I'd call crowded at all. Lots of empty spaces and empty tables. Didn't see any super buys on any of the guns I was interested in, but that doesn't mean there weren't any. Saw a pretty nice Marlin 39a Golden that I wouldn't have minded taking home, but the seller was tight on his price, and I can buy the same gun for $100 to $150 less so I passed. Picked up some powder at not too bad a price, but 22lr is still crazy (I'm just not paying $60+ per brick), though I did see 2 guys buying some. I'm sure having 3 shows going on the same weekend is having an affect, and some of the dealers were complaining business was slow. I was through the whole show in less than 1-1/2 hours. Overall it was about what I've come to expect. I probably wouldn't have bothered going but we were headed that way for some other shopping anyway.

Re: York County Gun & Knife show at the York Fairgrounds
I was wondering if anyone attending this show (or the Harrisburg one) noticed the guy who sells all the flashlights?
He usually has streamlight, olight and fenix lights for sale.
I dont really have the time to make both shows tomorrow so it would be a big help...Thanks ahead of time!

Hit this one on the way back from the Harrisburg show for a smaller show it was pretty good process weren't too crazy picked up a few rifle parts met the jsd guys officially so to speak. (Technically at both shows) great guys solid pricing overall not a bad show for being one of the smaller ones.

Re: York County Gun & Knife show at the York Fairgrounds
I went to the show this AM (9:05AM). I thoroughly enjoyed it! I guess my expectations aren't as high as others.
My main interest is antique firearms - they had a pretty good selection of pistols and rifles (black powder). It wasn't really crowded, but when the wife and I left - the lot was starting to really fill up (we left around 10:30AM). Gosh, their must have been a ton of rifles all over the place. Their were a few empty tables but aren't their always? Anyway, I am easy - limit my expectations - so I really enjoyed my visit."A free people ought to be armed." - George Washington (January 17th, 1790)

Re: York County Gun & Knife show at the York Fairgrounds
Got there a little after noon today. Good selection considering the HBG show was also happening. glad I choose here over HBG. Gun prices were decent, just a tad higher than the lower internet prices. Ammo was priced high. Plenty of quality AR parts/accessories for decent prices. Didn't take notice to any quality web gear, mostly lower end stuff. Did pick up a new Ruger 22/45 after some brief haggling.
