Upper darby high school in lockdown today

My son said the school was in lockdown today because someone was spotted with a gun, down the street, in a holster, at a gas station

Did anybody hear anything about it?

Wasn't me. I was at work (one of our sites in upper darby actually) And not allowed to carry anyhow at work.

No one on this forum will admit to being stupid enough to have a gun in a holster at a gas station down the street from a school.

It's only gonna get worse..........

My daughter was told by one of her teachers that a man ran from the cops and he was armed. She wasn't sure what he did to be chased by the cops.

Supposedly the school administrators were afraid he would run into the school.

I was upset when I thought it might be because of an oc'er.
I was thinking of how I would address that with the school administrators. I still don't like the idea of "lockdowns" but at least that would be a more legitimate reason to have one.

Same here. I was telling my son, if its because of oc'ing, i hope that person sues the piss out of the township and police dept. UD cops should be well schooled in this dept.
