Good encounters Walmart

Just stopped by the Walmart in Hatfield to see if they had 44 mag ammo.

Was open carrying my Ruger Alaskan in 44 mag. Saw my first OCer at the ammo cabinet--he had a Glock 27 in a level 2 holster. Introduced myself, and told him about PAFOA. He never heard of it, and was interested and thanked me for the reference.

There was also a young guy hanging around the airguns---looked to be around 15 years old. He saw my Alaskan, and said, 'Wow, that's a nice gun; a revolver!'. It was good to see a young person both know about and appreciate the old wheel gun.

And I even got a few boxes of 44.

You didn't really get 44...you got two boxes of 22 and are trying to hide it!

Ha. There was an older gentleman there, in one of those scooters, looking for 22 lr. Of course there was none.

I've been to that Walmart more times than I can count, and never once did I see a single box of 22
I don't even bother with 22--don't even own one.

22lr seem to be like finding unicorns anymore

Picked up two boxes of 50 at Trop and two more at Bass Pro today (100 round limits at both places)

Yep - stockpiling at 200 rounds per day is gonna take a while
