    Default Visiting Philadelphia Soon

I know the US Mint, Independence Hall and Liberty Bell are off limits. Are any other tourist sites currently a no go with a concealed firearm.

the grounds are ok, not in the building. You can see the liberty bell through glass from the outside. but yeah, how ironic. maybe they should just start calling it 'the bell'.

Federal grounds are okay, but inside Federal buildings are a no-go. I believe you're fine at the Constitution Center (privately owned). I checked their website and didn't see anything. When I went in person (I went 2 or 3 times within the last year), I didn't see any no carry signs either. Check out Eastern State Penitentiary too if you're there. That place is pretty cool.

What does the Penitentiary tour show? Is it worth it.

If you are into black powder, this could be fun.

The regular tour is not bad either. The museum plus the Olympia and the Becuna. And don't see any mention of any restrictions.

I believe the Franklin Institute and the Philadelphia Museum of Art do not have any policy. There are a LOT of museums in Phila, including some stange ones.

Careful where you park, else you might be visiting another popular Philthy attraction, the PPA.

Yup just factor that into the vacation budget.

Phila Museum of Art is pretty fun. Right now (or at least back in March last time I went) they had a whole medieval weapons exhibit upstairs. Very cool. Also no signs or security prohibiting carrying.

I've also heard the haunted/ghost tours are pretty fun, even when not around Halloween. And this is coming from Preston and Steve of 93.3 so it's a good source

My girlfriend and I liked it a lot. It's basically an old prison that heavily believed in solitary confinement. Al Capone stayed there too.
