Default looking for a Beagle or German Shorthair Pointer

I miss having a dog around. Anybody know a good breeder in Montco/chesco area. I would be interested in other hunting breeds also, or German Shepard

    Thanks

Have you considered any of the Rescue Organizations? We adopted a 2 year-old English Pointer that is well-behaved from PRO, located in Bridgeport,NJ. I know there is also a GSP Rescue from Pittsburgh, and other breed specific rescues in various locations. You may want to check them out. Good luck.

Do you really know what you are looking for? Beagles, German Shorthairs, and German Shepherds are about as different as dogs can get. I had a German Shorthair for 16 years, until I had to put him down. They are great hunting dogs, and VERY high energy. You need room to run them daily.

There is a good breeder in Mohnton, Berks County for GSP's.

A Beagle would drive me crazy, but an exercised GSP is a great all around dog.

I have had two gsps in my life time and a Elizabethan beagle (13 inch). I know both breeds. Im leaning toward a gsp now. Thank you
