It's time for the summer precision rifle match at LRGC. We all had a great time at the last one, and we've got a REALLY great CoF planned for this one. TEN stages, including a pistol (multigun) stage.

We're setting things up a little bit different this time guys. We're going to team up a precision shooter with a rifleman (you won't know your teammate until you get there)

There will be a number of stages where the precision shooter and rifleman will engage targets together, and others where they accumulate individual marksmanship points.

The details are in the link furnished above, but some of the basics are worth mentioning here:

You need to reserve a spot by emailing langhorne@langhornerodandgunclub.org, stating which disciplines you will be prepared to shoot in. Those who can be prepared to do both are preferred, though I will try and give you your preferred discipline. I need to make sure the balance works out. Another link furnished on the above page will list the received spots.
Precision shooters may use any < 50BMG centerfire rifle, any action. MUST ARRIVE ZEROED.
Rifleman MUST employ a semi-auto with a magnified scope. We're shooting at small targets on this one guys. To keep the playing field level, we must insist on this. The rifleman MUST ALSO ARRIVE ZEROED.
Round count for precision is 50, 100 for the rifleman (3-5 mags), and ~20 rounds of pistol for each.
Leave all rifles and gear in vehicles until registered, assigned to a team and a firing position.
M855 ammo is not permitted on the steel targets.
If you've never shot in any of our competitions before, you must arrive by 0930 for a new shooter briefing.
We need to start on time. Late arrivals will be accommodated with a $5.00 late fee, or -20 points.
Match fee: $15 LRGC members, $20 non-members.

Bring water, nourishment, sunscreen, and anything else that gets you through the day.

We have ten very awesome stages planned, and they're all going to be fun.

Regards,
Gary
