.410 slugs legal for deer?
Does anybody think this is a good Idea? I personally don't but I'm all ears for pros and cons.(By the way this is legal in special regs areas)
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.

Re: .410 slugs legal for deer?
Just think of it as a .41 Magnum out of a really long barrel... The only deer my father ever took was with a .410 and when I started hunting at 12 years old, I used that same rifle until he felt I was ready to hunt with the Remington 760 30.06 I had inherited from my grandfather... It is not a 200 yard rifle, but it will put some meat on the table... And completely legal.
