Utah
I just heard that PA does not recognize Utah CC permitt. Looked on PA's web site and Utah is no longer listed. What's up?

Re: PA no longer recognizing Utah Non-Res permits?
When was the change made?
Was there an official announcement, proclamation, an explanation, Handgunlaw.com used as a basis to find the change? A modification other than the subtle change in the PA Attorney General's reciprocity website?
The Utah Department of Public Safety still indicates reciprocity with Pennsylvania.
Were we supposed to figure this out without a public announcement?
What has changed, legally, beyond the PA Attorney General's personal attitude and subsequent meddling, for a legal basis for this change?

IANAL. I don't give legal advice. I'm only stating my OPINION.
(Did I really need to say that on an Internet forum? LOL)

Re: Utah
Our attorney general is making it impossible for non residents to carry here with out of state permits. If you have a permit from your home state you can apply here in Pa. Cheap and easy to get.

Re: Utah
Cheap and easy to get?
So if you live in California you can fly to PA to apply in person and then hope to have your LTCF mailed to your home in 6 weeks?
And what if California won't issue you a permit? Tough shit?
Well, guess what? Reciprocity usually means both ways. So, what you are saying is, people in PA shouldn't expect any other state to respect the PA LTCF when they travel.
Want to drive to Arizona? No problem. Go visit every state between here and there and apply, cheap and easy.
I certainly hope Utah and every other state stops honoring the PA LTCF if this Utah nonsense is true. If it is true, that is what she is after - ending the firearms rights of Pennsylvanians when they travel outside PA.
