New Movie

Well there is a new movie on its way out. Its called SHOOTER , the guys that made the move TRAINING DAY are the ones that made this one. I've seen all the previews and it appears to be one of those movies that is a good one to see if your bored out of your mind. The plot seems kind of thin too. I was just wondering how many of you might actually consider seeing it.

Looks entertaining. "300" is the one I'm waiting to go see.

The movie is based off of the Stephen Hunter novel, "Point of Impact".

While the novel was very good, I don't think the movie will be as good, as a general rule the book is always better. I will probably see the movie just to support a good author and the guy that made Training Day.

I've gotten to the point with movies, where I rate them as "entertaining" or "not entertaining". Hollywood is quickly running out of ideas, there's no originality anymore.

I totally agree, I'm still taking bets on what the sequel to "Snakes on a plane" will be.

So far I'm leading towards
"Cats in a tree"
"Bats in a bellfry"
"Pirahna in a pool"

And my all time favorite, "Hamsters on a chopper" (the kind that fly, not the ones from West Coast, although that would be equally silly)

As hot as "300" looks, nothing makes me salivate and start giggling like a little school girls as much as the "Transformers" movie. Directed by Michael Bay and produced by "the man who can do no wrong", Mr Spielberg himself.

+1 on that... that looks like an amazing movie and the reviews have been very good for it.

Shooter though, isn't there a movie out similiar to this? I remember seeing it, but don't remember the name. Something with a condemed marine that is brought back by a secret gov't group for some odd reason then is framed for shooting like the VP or something along those lines. Quite a few years old if I recall right.

I just watched the trailor for it. That helicopter scene was sick!
