What does the gun hating LEFT look like?

Sometimes it just amazes me how wrong the LEFT can be. I find it hard to believe they can be so ignorant when it comes to the 2nd Amendment. This article puts the spotlight on a reporter that is the face of everything we disagree with.

What does the gun hating LEFT look like?

Some of it is ignorance, but the vast majority of it is based on cultural hate--either as a pseudo-moral fashion statement, lashing out in defense of their own insecurity, or metaphorical statement against a cultural collage. It's the segregationist mentality reinvented.

Growing up I looked latino or "jewish". I'd run into a KKK or something like them. Wasn't always pleasant.

Looking back on it I cannot tell the difference between KKKlansman or Neo-Nazi, how they reacted to me back then and bile hate that I hear from Gun Control nuts.

Same hate. Same irrational thinking.

Don Kates was a gun rights activist from long ago. He did a nice "word substitution", taking an old racist pamphlet. He substituted the word "n------r" with the word "gun owner" and then substituted some of the "typicals".

When you read it the attitudes were the same darned thing.

The idea of "guns being a contagion of violence" kind of reminds me of how the Nazis used to use images and movies of Rats to identify "jews".

Guns don't do too much without their owners. So I guess that we "gun nuts" are the carriers of this contagion?

Maybe we need to go somewhere on the choo-choo, then when we arrive we can take a nice shower?

One side of this topic that does not seem to get attention is what would happen if the gun haters win? Let's say that no one had any firearms. Not the Police, Not the Bad guys, no one at all had guns. Then some country will simply walk in and take us over. Freedom is never FREE!!!
