Thanks for your follow-up reply.
FYI, by regulation you may not carry (open or concealed) in a PA casino.Kind Regards,

Re: Little Help for a Non-Res?
Just got off the phone with the Erie Sheriff's office, and they couldn't have been more professional. I'm an Illinois resident with an Illinois CCL (one of the few, so far) and they were surprised to hear of those existing. I'm looking forward to dropping off my PA out of state app now that we have to do it in person. Fill out the PDF beforehand, bring your DL and permit and $20 cash and get there before 4PM. She was very careful to stress that I needed to give COMPLETE addresses for my references - that must have been an issue recently. I'll update when I get back home next week.

Re: Little Help for a Non-Res?
I walked in at 3:30 on a Friday and walked out with the permit in my hand. Couldn't have been smoother. The deputy running the check was a good guy, chatted while I was being typed in and he handed me a laminated permit on the spot. Super nice folks to deal with. Thanks Erie!
