Anyone with a subcompact 9mm I can shoot?
I'm looking for a new CC gun, I really like the Ruger SR9c, but am considering the LCR and LCP, the Sig P250, S&W M&P, among others, but some seem a bit small for me.
If anyone in the area has one, or something similar, I would love to give it a try.
I can pay for ammo, or let you shoot something I have.

OK, I didn't mean I want to shoot someone with a 9mm subcompact. I want to shoot a 9mm subcompact AT A TARGET, to help me decide which one I would like.

Definitely try the M&P Compact. If it is too small for you, you can get full size mags to fit, plus add more capacity. The standard mags that come are a flat and an extended mag. I had one in .40 and it had a good feel in my hand.

If the weather isn't too bad, I was going to head over to ECSL Sunday afternoon. I have a Shield and an LCR you can shoot if you want. PM me if interested.

Re: Anyone with a subcompact 9mm I can shoot?
I can strongly recommend the SR40C (which I have) and the SR9C. With the 10 round mag and finger grip it is a good CC weapon, although certainly not a pocket pistol.
If you want something smaller I recently picked up a SCCY CPX-2. It is a very compact 9mm, carries 11 rounds, and is a very simple semi auto. No safeties but a revolver like long trigger pull. After having an initial problem with FTF I sent the pistol back to SCCY and within a week had it returned to me with a new slide. Since then I put about 500 rounds of 9mm plated HP reloads through it without a hiccup. It takes some breaking in and the trigger, while smooth, takes some getting used to - at least for folks who don't shoot a lot of double action revolver. Don't just buy it and carry - shoot it and make sure it works. But SCCY lifetime warranty and customer service will make it right.

Thanks. I really like the SR9c. I just want to experience the recoil of a smaller gun before spending the cash on one.

wife has the tauras compact. i carry it quite a bit but the only thing i dont like is the trigger pull with a striker hammer...you must be assertive in your trigger pull and pull it all the way back to the stops in order for the trigger to release the striker. its weird...has sort of a false release... once you used to it and pull it strong...fires every time

Thanks, I've read about that issue with the smaller guns.
