I think the chances of you being harassed at this mixed event are real, especially if the cops sympathize with them more than you.
At a large event there is much more supervision, and as noted Civil Affairs runs the show. Not sympathy, but respect is usually given to those acting the most responsible. IMO. Just a thought.

Red-Excellent idea. I was at the Liberty Bell march and Civil Affairs kept the PPD regulars away. I get the feeling this call to "bring it" is a trap in some way. Ceasefire may have have game planned some street theater to gin up some confrontations. We will need to be classy and let them come off as the stoop shouldered, knuckle dragging, slack jawed mouth breathers. If you get the chance to be interviewed, make the points that our signs are home made while the antis have professionally printed signs and they are not apparently too concerned about their safety if they come up and get into our faces. So whose message is off kilter? Who is the grass roots group and who is the astro-turf group? Who is getting paid to be there and has downtown offices all paid for by by one billionaire? We need numbers to make our point

Yeah they are sneaky people... they will call us gun bullies... we need to get a majority of women out there if we want to play their game against them. Pretty funny how they play on the naive's feelings.

Hey why don't we have a gun bash out in these parts, say bucks county.

See if tanners will be the ffl and then find 50 to volunteer and a venue to hold 1000 people and a caterer?

I know I never go to the one out west but would love a gun bash here for the FOAC.

This would get more people from Philly and the surrounding counties to come out a provide the FOAC with another serious fundraiser.

To me this would do more damage to the ceasefire people than counter protesting and giving them more press.

Shrill Goodman is looking for a media event to raise money. If we pay no attention to a staged event such as this neither will anyone else. You have to remember that Shrill Goodman was hired as a media stunt person because Ceasefire and Illegal mayors have no pull, no money unless it comes from the pockets of Bloomberg.

The people of PA are just not interested in Shrill Goodman, Bloomberg or their ridiculously small membership of Ceasefire PA. Most of their members are from New Jersey as we saw last year in Morrisville. That's not to say we should take our eyes of these people Shrill Goodman knows how to manipulate her allies in the press. We should choose our battles carefully with these socialists and when we do we give it everything we have. They will be pulling some media stunts but lets not contribute to it.

    A caterer? Food? Yes.

We all know this rally will have the news and they will be bleeding what little hearts they have out and probially refer to us as bullies.

The "trap" would most likely be the Ceasefire loonies spitting in faces and shrieking and shoving the pro-rights folks, so that the REACTION can be recorded, isolated from the PROVOCATION. And you just know that the usual suspects in the media would run the out-of-context footage (remember when they ran the cropped pic of the "racist" Tea Party guy with the AR-15, carefully trimmed to avoid showing his black skin?)

Their best strategy would be for old, frail women to find a large, scruffy man holding a pro-gun rights sign or wearing an NRA T-shirt, then spit in the man's face.

The counter to that would be to have a few pretty girls along, to intervene. That's not a useful pic for the spiteful gun-haters, having a pretty girl defending a calm male victim (wiping the spit off his face with a handkerchief) against a hateful, withered old crone.

But it would great for our side to record that.

Failing that, if the loons get desperate enough, they eventually turn to false flag ops. Some guy wearing a Confederate flag T-shirt and a NAZI hat while awkwardly carrying an airsoft machinegun, while he shouts racist, homophobic and anti-Semitic nonsense. There was a Tea Party event where there was a similar plant, and the real Tea Party members stalked him with signs saying "HE'S NOT ONE OF US" or "FAKE" to spoil the photo ops. Might pay to have a couple of those signs with you.

Do a Google search for "Tea Party event liberal plants", or see this:
    http://patdollard.com/2013/07/woman-...von-supporter/

Expect some fake "gun owners" to be there with signs or statements. Get good pics of the faces of those plants, these days pretty much anyone can be identified later. If need be, follow them to their car and jot down the license plate.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to GunLawyer001 again.

^^Excellent advice. Anybody going to this should be prepared for this. They are already taking fake photos/out of context movie clips of us and trying to incite reaction for that purpose. It's just a matter of time before they start doing a real, planned, coordinated job of it.
