Now that recent reports confirm that the 'doobies' cause brain damage that will pre-qualify them to be Democratic legislators.

Because votin for republicans has gotten us so far. And for the record not all libertarians live at home or smoke weed.

Trying the same thing repeatedly and expecting the same results my friend. Try some thing new for a change you might like it.

Albany, NY --(Ammoland.com)- Governor Cuomo awoke this morning to a massive problem, one million plus new felons, all armed with scary, high capacity, assault weapons!

An estimated million plus, formerly law abiding, gun owners have refused to comply with Cuomo and down state Democrat’s naive belief that the NY Safe Act, passed in a so called emergency session of the New York legislature, could force free people to register their hard earned property.

And who can blame these once lawful gun owners, with a president that picks and chooses which laws he will follow or enforce, as well as an Federal Attorney General that operates daily with a Contempt of Congress charge and gun running scandal, “Fast & Furious”, hanging over his head. Why should the average New York joe, bother to follow the law, especially when it is in direct conflict with the Constitution of the United States, the one true law of the land.

Good morning New York and good morning USA to the new reality of living without the rule of law.

    Molon Labe America!
Governor Cuomo doesn't give a hang for "gun nuts". He is an Elitist to his core. Guns are for his bodyguards, the police and special people. "Mundanes" and little people do not need guns and will be denied them over time.

He is counting on little incidents - ugly divorces, disputes between associates, random traffic stops, accidents - to reveal illicit guns. A few will be made examples of....

He also counting on the next mass shooting. To "build consensus".

In other words if someone has any that are not in compliance with the law they are going have to hide it. That means the owner can’t take it to the range, fire them recreationally, or even show them to anyone. If someone knows anyone who possesses any illegal firearms they can subject the owner to blackmail or the person that knows could make anonymous complaints to the police. If the owner gets into a domestic dispute with their wife, girlfriend etc. who has knowledge of the firearms and its location and the police are called its probable that the responding officer is going to be made aware of the firearm and its location. Another point to consider is that liberal leaning states that have “assault weapons bans” in place (CA) had them for many years without any serious threats of repeal from the public, politicians or the courts. The bottom line the owner of any illegal firearms is walking on egg shells and I hate to say it but if history repeats itself, these laws in NY and CT are there to stay.
    This is exactly correct.
They won't go door to door, they'll just pick people off one by one. If anyone makes the mistake of showing their illegal guns or talking about them, they are history. Not only will this law get rid of HC mags and "assault weapons" but since it's a felony to get caught with them, those people who get caught will no longer be able to have ANY guns. That's what they are going for, this was never about eliminating a particular firearm, it's about getting rid of ALL of them.
I wish I knew how to stop this but I don't think there's much that can be done, we just don't have enough friends on the east coast to make any kind of stand. That's what's scary about PA. We are surrounded, we do have some geological barriers but if something big goes down, we've got nowhere to retreat to without passing through enemy territory.

Don't fret, Ray. Thousands of drug dealers courier their crap into our State from all over the world. Most are never caught if the street prices of drugs are any indication, not to mention that even kids can buy drugs.

If our borders were airtight kids could not afford dope.

We can escape from PA if needed be and most of us will NOT get caught.

Wolf hasn't even won the nomination yet. We don't know who is going to run against Governor Corbett.

Governor Corbett isn't perfect. He's a lot better than Allyson "Everytown" Schwartz or Comrade Tom Wolf.

    Here are the facts.

If you have such a gun, the States of NY & CT consider you a felon. You are going to jail, for the rest of your life.

So you have a choice. Are you going to lay down and take it.
Or be a man, act on your convictions.

I ask this question as someone who has picked the fuck up and moved across the country twice - and yes, it involved the wife and I finding new companies to work for and new jobs in the process. So, I know it can be done. I just wonder why more people are not doing it?

It's not just the gun issue - it's all the other issues that go with these kinds of places. Why don't conservatives (or at least people who think of themselves that way), just retreat out of these places and leave them to rot in the hands of liberals? If nothing else, by concentrating ourselves into smaller regions, the hold on local politics can be more secure.

Some of us just haven't had the job offers come in yet...coming from someone who had to take a job in this (not to be mentioned) state, out of college, just to pay the bills for the college loans.

Sometimes you gotta take a chance. I moved here from across the country with no job in hand, despite my $60,000 or so in student loans (after paybg for 15 years).

But I will accept "financially stuck here" as an answer. But I'm also betting it's a matter of priority, or lack thereof, and that most people with this answer have a big tv, cable, cell phone, car payments and other expenses that could be dropped if saving for relo were a bigger priority.

    Thanks,
    F
