    Default Ruger P90. Cary Gun?

Any thoughts on a Ruger P90 as a carry gun. Saw one at a show today for $350. Looked interesting.

For Open or concealed carry? They are rather large and concealing one might be an issue. Otherwise I wouldn't fault you for it. Pretty much all the Ruger P-series pistols are well built and reliable, just kind of chunky. I carry a P-95 pretty regularly.

Good for a car gun, but it will be pulling down your pants all day if you carry it.

My P95 is my usual carry gun and amost always OC. Invest in a sturdy belt and your pants will stay where they belong.

Try carrying six rolls of quarters in your pocket first to see if you're good with it.

    ^^^This^^^

Good belt and a good holster will make things much easier.

Well, I don't have 6 rolls of quarters handy, but I do have my old Colt Python. This comes in at 43 oz empty, and the p90 at 34oz.

Stuck the Colt in my pocket, pants fell off. Don't think I can open carry that in PA. Suspenders on then, no problem. Weight fine. There is hope.

I carry a p89. Sometimes open and sometimes with just a t-shirt over it. It is heavy but I bought a couple belts from Mitch10mm and my pants stay up with no problems. I love the ruger p series. Well built guns and usualy a great price. Along with S&W model 10s they are one of the best values out there in the used market.
    Some people just plain suck.
If you're gonna be dumb ya gotta be tough.
