Warning from CGOPA to PA gun owners
True or not, I can't verify but feel it should be posted in case it really is true since it's from what I would consider a good source, the Concerned Gun Owners of PA.
Please share this with friends in South Central PA area. If the ATF (or any agent of the government) shows up at your door without a warrant, do not open the door and call your attorney immediately!

Friends Beware. We have received a report the ATF has been going house to house in one area in South Central PA checking the serial numbers of firearms owned by individuals with Concealed Carry permits. Apparently, the ATF has a list of individuals with concealed carry permits. But, apparently the ATF does NOT have search warrants. Remember, absent a valid search warrant, you have no legal obligation to allow an ATF agent into your home. If an agent comes to your door, do not let them in. Ask to see a search warrant. How many 'isolated incidents' does it take to become a real problem? Just in the past year I have seen at least 100 'isolated incidents' by those with badges who know damn well what they are doing is illegal.

I'm going to listen to the B.S meter that is going off on this one until I see a legitimate source or have more facts. Without a source it is a rumor and repeating rumors is one of the ways misinformation and untruths are spread. imo.
