ATF conlcusion on Sig Tac Brace

For everyone that wonders what the ATF's thoughts are on shouldering a Sig Tac Brace that is attached to an AK or AR pistol. This is from Atlantic Firearms.

Great news! Now I won't have to SBR the Sig MPX (assuming it ever makes it to the street)!

The brace looks like it would work just fine as a stock.

just dont go modifying the brace as that could change things. You may get away with a cheek rest or shell holder but Id stay away from any buttpads or anything like that just to CYA

I never modified mine and won't; it shoulders fine the way it is. Also the KAK Industries pistol buffer tube works great for these braces as well.

I also just wanted to clear it up for those on here that think when the brace is shouldered, it turns into an sbr.

It is going to be hard to find a holster for that. Mabye a drop leg.

do you have the bottom of the letter showing "who" signed off on this? oh Im not saying you would mod yours (somebody will eventualy) and I still not post videos naming the brace just incase "the boss" didnt see this before it got approved

Don't have the bottom with signature, maybe atlantic firearms does? I know you weren't saying I modded mine. I was just saying I think it's fine the way it is. But someone probably will mod one at some point ya know.

That letter comes with every arm brace. I made a few copies.
