Time to renew my LTCF.
Well I am closing in on 5 years of having an LTCF and it's going to expire on April 24th, problem is I recently got employed with a new company and I work Monday thru Friday so I won't be able to make it out to Milford until 5-530 PM. I was just wondering since they have really lame hours if I can somehow get it done on the weekend or possibly somewhere else with better hours? Otherwise it's going to be "complex" to get there during the week.
Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

Re: Time to renew my LTCF.
As far as I know it's strictly Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30 in person only for dropping off the app and picking up the LTCF. Check their holidays also before you schedule time to go, they're closed April 18 for Good Friday.

Re: Time to renew my LTCF.
Yeah I had to take the day off and I got it done, the catch is I have to do it again in 2 weeks to pick it up. Very lame...
Plus the new LTCF look cheaper than the one I got in 2009 but at least they're laminated now. The one I have got all beat up spending 5 years in my wallet.Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

You're right, that is lame. My wife and I just did our renewals and they did mine on the spot and handed it to me. They didn't do hers while she waited for some reason but it was in our mailbox 4 days later. That is ridiculous that you have to take time from work and go back in just to pick it up.

Re: Time to renew my LTCF.
Sorry for this 2 week late response as I have been buried with work and stuff the last two weeks.
Get this for a kicker, I got my response letter the week before the last that my carriers permit was ready. So I stopped by that Friday because my work took me to Milford. I had the check and everything, went to the door and it was locked. The place was vacant and the court house was closed. You know why? It was Good Friday and the letter I got never mentioned they close for holidays too, I left them a message on their phone about it and ask them to call me back but they never returned my call. Now I have to take time off next week so I can pick it up....Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

Re: Time to renew my LTCF.
I think it's pretty common knowledge that most government offices are closed on holidays, even though some don't consider Good Friday a holiday.

Yet I ran into someone else trying to get in touch with the Sheriff looking to pick up his LTCF....
I don't consider Good Friday a holiday either, Easter is a different story.Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....
