Double Tap
So I'm not a huge fan, but I do like bargains. New double taps, 45 acp, ported for $365 - good deal? worth it? I know it's all personal preference but seems like a decent deal for a Summer drop in pocket carry. Thoughts?

Re: Double Tap
Thanks for bringing this up, I am also curious if anyone has owned or shot this gun. I think it would be a great backup for my backup. I read a review recently that said it was a well built gun, although it kicks like a mule (not an issue if a last resort for me). The price sounds good compared to the review. I would call Tanners or another reputable shop to validate the $$$.

Re: Double Tap
Yeah, I just emailed my lgs to see if he thought it was a good price - he is also my neighbor and friend so can trust his feedback. I know GB is not a great place to compare, but most non ported 45's go for around $425-$450 and ported over $500. Then again, those could be prices that have been on there a while and there could have just been a drop on the ported 45's. Hmmmmmm, maybe I'll throw it on layaway........

Re: Double Tap
That deal is insane. I wrote a semi review on mine a while back. Neat guns, but the 45 is beyond brutal. It is very light and thin. Easy to pop it in your back pocket on your weak side and forget it is there. I love mine, but I do have the 9 mm barrels too.
Just fyi, a 40sw and 410/45lc barrels should be out any day now.

Re: Double Tap
They should make them out of steel or brass.....So they have some weight to them when you have to throw them at the assailant.

Re: Double Tap
They have been having issues with double discharges. They are also not rated for +P. They also seem to have a problem leaving firing pin mark on the unfired round after the first is fired.
