Not only is killing the king's deer illegal but apparently not answering questions is too.

At least the DA, the AG, and the court got this one right. For now.

I was talking to a friend in VA about this case today, and I used the "King's deer" to describe it. What else fits?
These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Thomas Paine 1776

that's one of the problems in our legal system, you needs thousands to defend yourself from a 150 dollar fine. whether your right or wrong. glad to see the court made the right decision though.

Good decision. Seems odd to me that it stood unchallenged for as long as it did. Has anybody else even been charged under that regulation?
